Before the big National Day of Prayer event, we’re actually doing something even BIGGER…a celebration of Unity. An embodiment of what God has called His church to be in scripture. “Unified,” “in one accord,” “in harmony,” and “without division” to name a few. While we know each church in Volusia County has its own identity, style, views on doctrines, and so on… we are unified in our salvation and empowerment by Jesus Christ. And that’s something not only to celebrate but to declare to the world. John 13:35 says “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” And that’s exactly what the unity celebration is all about. Plus free food from local food trucks, giveaways from local businesses, bounce houses, games, balloon animals, live music from Volusia County musicians, and so much more.
Join us at First Baptist Daytona Beach on May 2nd at 5 pm to celebrate our unity, and display to the world what the church is truly about.
